We are building a strong brand with dedicated fans. Will you become the driving factor behind this? As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, you’ll take ownership of our brand presence, shaping how riders around the world experience our brand as we grow. You’ll set up a successful marketing strategy, and ensure that all brand communications reflect it.

Your role

Radian is growing, and to help drive our growth we’re looking for someone who seamlessly matches a strategic long-term vision with hands-on marketing and the creation of social media content. You’ll own our marketing strategy, from overall plan to day-to-day execution of our brand presence, including marketing and social media activities for the brand.

You’ll take ownership of the channels riders see every day. And there’s a lot of room to bring your own creative ideas to the table. You’re someone who isn’t afraid to pitch bold, out-of-the-box ideas, and can then roll up their sleeves to make them happen. You will also shape collaborations with fitting brands, riders and influencers, and work with external photographers and videographers.

As our dealer network is being set up, starting across Europe, and later expanding to the US, Canada and Australia and potentially more markets, you’ll also play a supporting role in shaping our dealer strategy.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up a strong marketing strategy for the brand Radian, and continuously refine it.
  • Plan and execute our social media content calendar across multiple channels, for an international audience.
  • Create and direct content, from copy to visuals, that fits the Radian brand.
  • Monitor engagement, trends, and performance, and adjust your approach accordingly.
  • Develop and run campaigns around product launches, events, and key seasonal moments.
  • Safeguard brand identity and tone of voice across all output.
  • Bring your own creative, out-of-the-box ideas for branding and positioning.
  • Spot opportunities to strengthen how the brand comes across, including outside the obvious paths.
  • Pitch your ideas to the team and help shape decisions on what gets developed further.
  • Create brand outings to market the brand at consumer events and race events. You will be present there, and directly talk to (potential) Radian riders, together with other team members.
  • Help shape our dealer strategy and build the tools, processes and partnerships needed to create a successful dealer network.
  • Guide and support one or more interns working on the same areas, together with another Radian team member.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has demonstrable/proven experience in marketing and/or social media;
  • Has a strong, hands-on and self-directed way of working;
  • Has a strategic view, and effectively keeps overview;
  • Has creativity and initiative, and isn’t afraid to pitch bold, out-of-the-box ideas;
  • Is able to communicate effectively in English. Dutch proficiency is a strong plus;
  • Has an affinity with motorcycles. Off-road affinity and riding experience is an even stronger plus;
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where ownership and initiative are valued;
  • Is a strong communicator, collaborative, and comfortable working autonomously;
  • Is happy to guide and support interns alongside their own work;
  • A bonus: experience within the motorcycle or automotive industry. A student team background (MotoStudent, Formula Student or comparable) is always nice.

Practicalities

  • This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
  • The position is primarily on-site at our office in Hengelo, The Netherlands. A hybrid arrangement can be discussed.

What we offer

We offer the unique experience of being involved with a startup in its early stages, working on a product that is genuinely pushing the boundaries of electric motorsport. You will be part of a small, passionate team where your ideas and contributions have big impact. As a fast-growing startup, there is plenty of room to take initiative and make the role your own.
