At the heart of the EXR is an Internal Permanent Magnet (IPM) motor with a carbon-sleeved rotor. Developed specifically for electric off-road use, it has been optimized for maximum efficiency across the RPM-range that riders actually use.
Capable of spinning up to 14,000 rpm, while still delivering a broad and usable powerband, the motor combines top-end performance with low-speed precision.
The electric motor is paired with a high-performance inverter that delivers exactly the right amount of power at the right moment. Thanks to its high switching frequency, its high efficiency matches the capabilities of the motor itself.
The EXR's drivetrain consists of significantly less moving parts than a combustion engine, making it vastly more reliable, even in the most demanding situations.
Every component has been positioned with purpose. The EXR's drivetrain is tightly integrated into its chassis. The motor is purposefully placed within the battery pack's arch and mounted radially to the frame, making it a structural component. This patent-pending approach increases structural stiffness for a more direct, precise riding feel, while enabling efficient chassis-integrated cooling.
By combining multiple functionalities into one compact design, unnecessary weight and wasted space are removed. Its distinctive curved design enables smooth, ergonomic removal with a simple pull-and-lift motion, eliminating awkward handling and heavy lifting. For this same reason, the InfiniPack system consists of two modules, splitting weight in two.
